Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to lead non-clinical services and drive performance and customer service across the site. You will work with the Hospital Director and senior team to deliver on strategic goals and ensure service excellence for patients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant, proven commercial experience ideally in a hospital setting.
• Strong influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Financial management experience and analytical skills.
• Experience of managing outsourced services.
• Project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Hospital Director and Director of Clinical Services, leading and developing the Hospital to exceed quality and financial targets.
• Provide clear leadership and direction for services within the organisation, aligned with strategic goals.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the site and with colleagues in Nuffield Health.
• Manage budgets and provide timely management information.
• Help shape local self-pay pricing strategy for competitiveness.
• Deliver a patient pathway ensuring high levels of customer service.
• Support growth plans and revenue targets through service development.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with other hospitals in the region.
• Coach and role model a Customer First culture.
