Circle Health Group's St Edmunds Hospital in Bury St Edmunds seeks a Director of Operations to join the Senior Management Team. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a salary up to £60,000 per year, and requires flexible shift coverage.

You will lead non-clinical services, promote a positive patient and staff experience, and drive service improvements. The successful candidate will bring senior operational experience in healthcare, strong leadership, budget management, and governance

Qualificações

• Senior operational management experience in healthcare or similar regulated environment.
• Degree or postgraduate leadership and management qualifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and performance management skills.
• Financial and budget management with cost control and resource planning.
• Governance, health and safety, and incident/complaint management experience.
• Flexibility to participate in on-call duties.
• Degree in Business, Healthcare Management or related discipline.
• Understanding of NHS RTT, NHS Standard Contracts, and private pathways.
• Familiarity with digital tools, reporting systems, Lean or continuous improvement.
• Experience managing estates, facilities, or contract services in healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the delivery of non-clinical operational services to support clinical functions.
• Engage with patients, consultants, and visitors to improve experience.
• Maintain daily visible leadership and run daily cell meetings.
• Ensure departments meet service levels and KPIs including NHS RTT 18-week standards.
• Oversee use of labour and tools to drive efficiency per CHG policies.
• Maintain governance framework; incidents and complaints recorded and investigated in Riskman.
• Set, manage and monitor departmental budgets.
• Attract, retain, and develop an operations team.
