Job summary

DP World is seeking a senior leader to drive Operational Excellence across multiple sites in the Greater London region. The role encompasses budgeting, standard project delivery, and collaboration with commercial and account teams to win profitable opportunities.

You will champion Lean Six Sigma, manage WMS deployments, and ensure adherence to HSEQ standards while delivering measurable efficiency gains. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in logistics or port-focused operations,

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams delivering operational improvements.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma knowledge and problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing WMS, BI, and process improvement across large sites.
• Financial acumen with budgeting and cost-control experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support regional operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Operational Excellence functions including CI, BI, HSEQ, Security, and PMO.
• Own budgeting for OE: labor, non-labor, forecasts and actuals.
• Partner with Account Management and Sales to win new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to communicate DP World value to customers.
• Launch new contracts and sites via standardized project methodologies.
• Drive change management to meet customer requirements and curb scope creep.
• Monitor performance with KPIs and DP World standards.
• Ensure compliance with operating standards, tools, and systems across operations.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Gemba, GSA).
• Deploy BPM to deliver transformational improvements and best practices.
