Job summary

Addition is seeking a senior operations leader to drive performance across multiple sites in the technology services and logistics space. You will own day-to-day operations, oversee P&L and lead high-performing leadership teams to deliver safe, efficient, and profitable service delivery.

Working with Finance, IT and Commercial colleagues, you will champion Lean, automation and transformation programs, drive KPI alignment, and shape strategy for future growth while maintaining exceptional

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in large-scale operations, logistics or supply chain.
• Proven P&L management and budgeting experience.
• Track record leading multi-site operations and developing leaders.
• Experience driving Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience with automation or technology-led improvements.

Role Overview

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead day-to-day operations across multiple sites, ensuring safe, efficient and profitable service delivery.
• Take joint ownership of operational P&L, driving productivity, profitability and cost performance.
• Lead, coach and develop operational leadership teams, creating a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Deliver operational KPIs through effective workforce planning, resource management and performance improvement.
• Champion Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
• Lead the implementation of automation and transformation projects that improve productivity and support future growth.
• Partner with commercial teams to support new business opportunities, customer retention and profitable contract delivery.
• Oversee operational readiness for new customer programmes, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing service excellence.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Engineering and Security to achieve shared business objectives.
• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while driving operational governance, reporting and performance management.
• Identify and embed best practice across the operation to improve customer satisfaction, quality and financial performance.

Main Skills Needed

• Significant leadership experience within large-scale operational, logistics or supply chain environments.
• Proven responsibility for P&L management, operational budgets and commercial performance.
• Strong background leading multi-site operations and developing high-performing leadership teams.
• Experience driving Lean, continuous improvement and operational transformation initiatives.
• Track record of implementing automation or technology-led operational improvements.
• Strong understanding of operational KPIs, productivity metrics and performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience working alongside commercial, finance and customer-facing teams.
• Commercially astute, with the ability to balance operational performance, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development capabilities.
• Experience within technology services, reverse logistics, 3PL or similar operational environments would be highly advantageous.
