Job summary

Montem Academy in Slough is seeking a Director of Inclusion to lead and champion inclusive practice across the academy and wider community. The role requires a qualified teacher with a strong track record in SEND provision, strategic leadership and collaboration with multi-agency partners.

The Director of Inclusion will drive improvements, interpret assessment data to inform decisions, and serve as a key spokesperson for inclusion at the school and external events.

Qualifications

• Be an outstanding qualified teacher with a proven track record of impact, creativity and rigour.
• Have an excellent knowledge of SENd and a good understanding of a range of specific learning needs.
• Be able to identify, drive and secure improvements to ensure high standards in all areas.
• Be the figurehead and spokesperson for inclusion at academy, inter-agency and public events.
• Have the ability to evaluate and plan strategically, motivate and inspire both staff and students.
• To have experience of contributing to policy formulation, implementation, evaluation and review.
• Have a clear understanding of assessment and a proven ability to interpret data and use it to focus improvements.

Responsibilities
