Job summary

Castle Peak Group has been retained by an established social housing provider in the North East to appoint a Director of Housing. You will shape the strategic direction of housing services, ensure safety, sustainability and financial resilience, and lead a high-performing team across housing management, homelessness provision and asset investment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading housing services at executive level.
• Proven track record in housing development and capital funding.
• Knowledge of Homes England funding frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Strong governance, risk management and Board reporting.
• Experience engaging with local authorities, funders and partners.
• Degree level education; housing management qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the organisation's housing strategy.
• Lead housing management, homelessness provision and asset management.
• Oversee housing growth, development and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with Regulator of Social Housing and building safety standards.
• Provide reporting to the Board and executive team.
• Lead and develop housing teams with a culture of accountability.
