Job summary

Vertical Recruitment Limited is assisting an independent Manchester property and construction consultancy to appoint an Associate Director or Director to establish and grow its Quantity Surveying and Cost Management offering. The role focuses on leadership, business development and expanding the client base across sectors.

The successful candidate will shape the service, recruit and mentor a team, and work directly with Directors to deliver high-value commercial advice.

Qualifications

• Senior Quantity Surveying and Cost Management experience
• MRICS qualification preferred
• Strong client development and work-winning capability

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the Cost Management offering within the consultancy.
• Develop client relationships and secure new commissions.
• Lead pre- and post-contract QS work from feasibility to completion.
• Mentor and build a Quantity Surveying team as the service expands.
• Collaborate with Directors on commercial performance and growth.
