A leading London cost consultancy is looking to appoint an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join their senior team. The successful Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will lead major residential, commercial and mixed-use projects while playing a central role in winning new work and expanding the consultancy's client base.
The Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will combine project delivery with a strong commercial growth remit. Alongside overseeing key commissions, the Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will be expected to generate opportunities, convert relationships into instructions, lead bids and fee proposals, and strengthen the consultancy's position across the London property market.
This role would suit an Associate Director Quantity Surveyor with a strong network, a proven track record of work winning and the confidence to open doors with developers, investors and occupiers. The Associate Director Quantity Surveyor will also help shape sector strategy, mentor teams and contribute directly to revenue growth.
Winning new cost consultancy instructions across residential, commercial and mixed-use sectors
Developing and converting new client relationships into repeat business
Leading bids, fee proposals, interviews and competitive pitches
Identifying target clients, projects and market opportunities
Building a strong pipeline of new work across the London market
Leading major cost management commissions from feasibility through to final account
Managing senior client relationships and acting as a trusted commercial advisor
Managing and mentoring Quantity Surveyors across multiple commissions
Representing the consultancy at networking events, client meetings and industry functions
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
MRICS qualified with significant post-chartership experience
Strong UK consultancy / PQS background
Proven track record of winning work and generating fee income
Established network across the London development and property market
Experience within residential, commercial and mixed-use projects
Strong understanding of client strategy, bid conversion and relationship management
Commercially confident with a clear focus on growth and profitability
Excellent presentation, negotiation and influencing skills
Experience leading teams and managing project profitability
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and UK procurement routes
£90,000 - £105,000 per annum
