Peaple Talent has partnered with a global digital engineering consultancy that is recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis based out of their London office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully engaging and acquiring new business within the UK banking and financial services market, with a solid understanding of selling tech consultancy services into this sector. Responsibilities include building and developing strong sales, business development, and client engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new clients within the FS sector, focusing on large and strategic accounts.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at potential client organizations.
- Solution Selling: Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored solutions that address specific business challenges.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
- Negotiations and Closing: Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements that align with company goals.
- Onsite-Offshore and Global Delivery Model: Sell projects using an onsite-offshore and a global delivery model, ensuring optimal resource utilization and client satisfaction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with delivery, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to execution.
