Job summary

GSK is seeking a Director of AI ML & Cloud Security in the United Kingdom. This hybrid role is London‑based with key ownership of AI engineering delivery across four workstreams: agentic framework, AI solution engineering, platform infrastructure and the data fabric pipeline.

You will lead a 6‑person team across the UK and India, ensure security by design, and drive vendor handovers to a production‑grade standard.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in cyber security or AI engineering with global team leadership.
• Experience leading four engineering workstreams across multiple geographies.
• Standards for AI delivery including testing, observability and cost budgets.
• Knowledge of AI security controls, identity binding and least privilege.
• Ability to sign off vendor handovers and ensure production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own AI engineering delivery across four workstreams.
• Chair build reviews with vendors and sign handover certificates.
• Develop GenAI alert triage and LLM‑assisted analysis capabilities.
• Maintain release train alignment and prioritization across teams.
• Define and enforce engineering standards for testing and handover readiness.
• Ensure builds are documented, tested and operable without direct oversight.
• Lead teams across India and the UK with cross‑functional dependencies.
• Embed security controls by design in AI platforms and pipelines.
• Contribute to architecture reviews and challenge designs for operability.
