YOUR ROLE

Capgemini Invent is hiring proven Life Sciences leaders to drive transformational change for our clients and their customers; a team who are relentless in the pursuit of improving patient outcomes within Pharma & MedTech. As part of the sector leadership team, you will help to set a visionary direction that maximises the market opportunity, lead delivery of the strategy, develop our team, and position our offers and services for positive outcomes with our clients. We are looking for individuals with experience selling professional consulting services and building CXO relationships within the Life Sciences sector. You will work on a range of engagements across the value chain and provide breadth of knowledge as well as utilising your own specialism and expertise.

As we continue to grow our focus on MedTech (Medical Technology sector), we are seeking a Director with domain experience and a track record of delivering value for clients or organizations focused on the development and commercialization of medical devices and technologies that improve patient care and healthcare outcomes. This role will contribute to the overarching Life Sciences sector performance, with a clear focus and accountability on building our MedTech business growth.

In this role, you will:

• Help set the direction, drive the business, inspire with an entrepreneurial attitude, model our values, and coach junior team members as a Life Sciences Director focusing on MedTech.

• Utilize your deep sector and consulting expertise to help clients in areas such as Enterprise Transformation, Healthcare Integration, R&D, Device Commercialisation, and Connected Health.

• Draw on practical experience with Medical Devices and strategic capabilities to maximise success in categories like Diagnostics, Remote Monitoring, Procedures, and Connected/Wearables.

• Demonstrate strong experience within a sell & deliver model, balancing commercial growth with leading project teams to successful outcomes.

• Lead growth of key MedTech accounts, developing C-suite relationships, setting strategies, collaborating globally, and executing plans.

• Contribute to team development through recruitment, coaching, and capability building, focusing on MedTech in-house and future talent.

• Establish yourself as a thought leader in MedTech with a solid understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and a proven track record.

You will also have opportunities to contribute to business development, internal initiatives, and personal growth through activities like proposals, campaigns, thought leadership, and training.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong consulting and personal skills, with the ability to influence and work collaboratively with colleagues and senior executives.

• Experience in a major consulting firm or industry with a consulting background, successful in a matrixed organization, and able to secure support for solutions.

• Proven proposition building and delivery skills.

• Business development experience, with a goal of generating approximately £2m in consulting revenues as a Director.
