About the Role

The Director Business Development handles Leading, planning and organizing of department operations and looking for business targets according to company's policy and achieving goals.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ability to own all aspects of sales process from initial engagement through contract signatures.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage key accounts, generating repeat business with expanding services
  • Demonstrate an understanding of clinical trial budgets, proposals and contracts to facilitate both internal client reviews and discussions.
  • Manage staff by organization's policies and applicable regulations, including without limitation: planning, assigning, and directing work; managing performance and guiding professional development

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5+ years of Business Development experience within a CRO, biotech, or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business, science or related discipline.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage opportunities across a variety of accounts.
