Stonewater Housing Association, in the Safety, Growth & Investment Directorate, is seeking a Director of Building Safety & Compliance to lead safety across the organisation on a national remit. You will drive a strong safety culture and ensure statutory compliance across all properties and colleagues.

You will oversee the Building Safety & Compliance team, shape Health & Safety policies, and direct auditing, reporting and governance to monitor performance.

Qualificações

• Experience leading safety inspection programmes across housing portfolios.
• Knowledge of Social Housing Policy and Practice.
• Familiarity with England/Scotland regulatory frameworks.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Strong business acumen in social and commercial settings.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver a safety culture ensuring statutory requirements are met.
• Develop and implement Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Oversee governance including the Health & Safety Committee.
• Lead teams: Fire Safety, Gas & Water Hygiene, Building Safety, Mechanical & Electrical, Corporate Health & Safety, Compliance Administration.
• Coordinate and manage H&S contracts to meet regulations.
• Collaborate with Safety, Growth & Investment SMT to achieve strategic objectives.
• Participate in business continuity activities.
• Promote Equality and Diversity policies.
• Line management and development of team members.
