Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company, seeks an Industry Technical Consultant to serve as an SME for closed loop systems, focusing on chemistry, microbiology, heat transfer, and direct-to-chip cooling across Europe. You will troubleshoot, train audiences, and translate complex technical knowledge into actionable recommendations for customers, sales teams, and R&D.

The role requires extensive travel and remote work across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (Chemistry or Microbiology) and 5+ years experience in closed loop water treatment or adjacent cooling applications.
• Strong problem solving mindset and ability to translate technical knowledge to actionable customer guidance.
• Ability to travel across Europe and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across customer applications, internal projects, and innovation programs.
• Troubleshoot closed loop and thermal management challenges and train technical audiences.
• Collaborate with field teams to support industry-specific opportunities and advise on operational improvements.
