Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking a friendly Dining Hall Assistant in London to support the school catering operation. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time with permanent part-time status. You will help set up dining spaces, serve meals, and maintain high standards of hygiene and customer service.

The ideal candidate is reliable, organised and good with children, with a positive team attitude and strong attention to detail. DBS checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Prior catering/hospitality or school service experience is desirable.
• Experience working with children is beneficial.
• Interest in food and customer service is important.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks to children, staff and guests.
• Support healthy eating and provide friendly service.
• Follow allergen procedures and food safety rules.
• Prepare dining hall before service and keep area clean.
• Clear tables and assist kitchen team for smooth operation.
