Job summary

Din Tai Fung UK in Central London is seeking a Dim Sum Chef to support our front kitchen and deliver high-quality dim sum. You will work with a busy team to cook, plate, and maintain a clean workstation while upholding authentic Taiwanese cuisine.

We offer training, competitive hourly pay starting at £15, with progression to £16–£17 as you qualify, plus great staff benefits and career growth within our fast-growing restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Commis Chef or Chef De Partie role.
• Passion for authentic Taiwanese/Chinese cuisine.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dim sum and steamed dishes to high standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen station and efficient service.
• Follow recipes to reflect Taiwanese culinary traditions.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure fresh ingredients are available.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peaks.
