Job summary

Boeing Defence UK is seeking a Digital Manager to lead and coordinate the digital output within Product Support Engineering. You will oversee Engineering Data Exploitation, toolset migration and governance, collaborating with EMS Tools Council and senior stakeholders to drive digital transformation across programmes.

You will report to the Head of Product Support, shaping digital strategies to enable technical excellence and transformational outcomes while developing a high-performing team

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a digital, software or related field.
• Experience in an engineering data, technical systems, or support engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Data Exploitation or related digital engineering activities.
• Experience working with digital tools, platforms, and transformation or migration projects.
• Ability to liaise effectively with Engineering forums, including tool councils.
• Strong leadership and people management capability.
• Clear communicator with a proactive, collaborative, and improvement-focused approach.
• Proven ability to deliver against schedule, quality, and contractual expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the digital domain within Product Support Engineering, ensuring effective delivery of all digital outputs and related activities.
• Manage and coordinate Engineering Data Exploitation activity in support of programme and business objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff working within the digital Product Support domain.
• Develop and implement plans, policies, and processes that support digital transformation and operational effectiveness.
• Oversee liaison with the EMS Tools Council and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on digital tools, standards and governance.
• Lead and support toolset migration activities with minimal operational impact.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to track progress, quality and delivery of digital outputs.
• Ensure digital outputs comply with quality management, safety and contractual obligations.
