Job summary

FSP is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join the Products and Programmes Team. You will support business analysis best practice and deliver client projects across public and private sectors, onboarding new bespoke technology, M365 and SharePoint.

You will capture requirements, translate needs into high quality specifications, and work with cross functional teams to enable change. The role involves facilitating sessions and applying SDLC knowledge (Agile and Waterfall) to drive

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Analysis experience, ideally with client projects
• Proven background in business analysis techniques
• Proficient in core MS tools (PowerPoint, Word & Excel)
• Experienced in facilitation & elicitation techniques: sessions, design sessions, observations, story mapping
• Expertise in tools and techniques to analyse business processes and recommend improvements
• Track record of redesigning processes and delivering benefits from business cases
• Capability to map business requests & requirements with strategic and operational value
• Understanding of SDLC Agile & Waterfall methodologies
• Knowledge of business architecture & operating model techniques
• Knowledge of Data-modelling techniques
• Understanding of business change approaches and processes
• Strong alignment with customer value and quality

Responsibilities

• Capturing business requirements and processes
• Translating organisational requirements into high quality specifications
• Liaising with stakeholders to map current operations and requirements to enable progress
• Facilitate identification, documentation and QA of business requirements and changes
• Collaborate with Developers, UX, Solution Architects and Delivery Managers to deliver improvements
• Provide the business with tools and viewpoints to drive best change outcomes
