Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust's Digital Education Team is seeking a motivated trainer to deliver and evaluate high-quality training across Royal Bolton Hospital and other sites. The role uses a blended approach, including face-to-face sessions, virtual platforms and eLearning, with opportunities to create engaging learning resources.

You will work autonomously, manage your workload, travel between sites, and occasional evenings or weekends.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our innovative Digital Education Team. We welcome applications from motivated individuals with a passion for using digital technology to support staff development and enhance patient care.

The successful candidate will deliver and evaluate high‑quality training to individuals and groups through a blended approach, including face‑to‑face sessions, virtual platforms and eLearning. Experience in clinical systems training and digital content development is desirable, but full training and support will be provided. The role involves creating engaging learning resources such as eLearning modules and instructional videos.

We are seeking a reliable and adaptable individual with strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex information clearly. You will work autonomously, manage your workload effectively and contribute positively to a supportive team. Flexibility to travel between sites and occasional evening or weekend working is required. The role is based at Royal Bolton Hospital, with flexible and agile working supported.

Provide training, support and knowledge to support the implementation and development of all elements of Digital Education being implemented within the Trust. To ensure that all users make full and effective use of Digital tools by evaluating and testing current and new software, as well as planning, developing, delivering and evaluating training courses.
