Job summary

Asda Stores Ltd is seeking an Online Trader Merchandiser to shape the digital strategy and lead trading insights for trading performance. You will manage day-to-day online merchandising, optimise product discovery, and coordinate campaigns with Marketing to drive conversions and revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in an ecommerce online trading/merchandising role.
• Proven expertise in digital trading, onsite optimisation, or product discovery management within online retail.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and the ability to translate insight into action.
• Proficiency with tools such as Algolia, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, ContentSquare, with high organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced trading environment.
• Strong problem-solving, initiative and collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of digital strategy with weekly to annual sales analysis.
• Oversee online merchandising and product discovery to boost findability and conversion.
• Monitor customer journey metrics and collaborate on product features to improve UX.
• Plan and deliver online campaigns, product launches and markdowns with marketing teams.
