Job summary

Sky UK Limited is seeking a Digital Trading Lead to own the end-to-end digital performance story, using data and commercial judgment to identify and deliver opportunities across acquisition and existing customer journeys.

You will translate performance data into actionable insight, drive trading decisions that maximise digital share, ARPU and net customer growth, and collaborate with Digital Marketing, eCommerce and value streams to deliver a seamless customer journey.

Qualifications

• Strong track record of using data and insight to drive business performance.
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, translating complex data into clear narratives that drive action.
• Proven ability to move from analysis to action, delivering measurable impact at pace.
• Strong stakeholder management, able to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven environments with accountability.
• Experience in Adobe Analytics, Tableau or similar, plus MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver the Digital sales plan with accountability for performance vs targets.
• Make informed trading decisions at pace balancing data, customer impact and commercial priorities.
• Lead the digital performance narrative and ensure insight drives action at senior levels.
• Monitor performance, identify and prioritise opportunities to improve conversion and demand.
• Define and execute optimisation plans with measurable commercial impact.
• Develop and refine a Digital trading playbook with key levers and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing, eCommerce and value streams for end-to-end journeys.
• Lead transformation initiatives to improve digital propositions and trading effectiveness.
• Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships across the business.

Job description

As the Digital Trading Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering Sky’s Digital growth ambitions by owning the end-to-end digital performance story, using data, insight and commercial judgement to identify, prioritise and deliver opportunities across acquisition and existing customer journeys.

You will be accountable for translating performance data into clear, actionable insight, driving trading decisions that maximise digital share, ARPU and net customer growth.

What you'll do:

• Own and deliver the Digital sales plan, taking full accountability for performance against targets and proactively identifying risks and opportunities
• Make informed trading decisions at pace, balancing data, customer impact and commercial priorities to optimise performance
• Lead and own the digital performance narrative, clearly articulating the “what, why and so what”, ensuring insight drives action and influences senior stakeholders
• Continuously monitor performance, identifying, sizing and prioritising opportunities to improve conversion, demand and customer value
• Define and execute optimisation plans, ensuring measurable commercial impact
• Develop and evolve a Digital trading playbook, building a clear understanding of key levers and expected outcomes
• Collaborate across Digital Marketing, eCommerce and value streams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer journey
• Lead transformation initiatives to improve the digital customer proposition and trading effectiveness
• Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, confidently influencing at senior levels

What you’ll bring:

Essential Criteria:

• A highly analytical and commercially minded individual with a strong track record of using data and insight to drive business performance and inform decision-making
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling narratives that drive understanding and action at all levels of the business
• Proven ability to move from analysis to action, delivering measurable impact at pace
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership
• Experience working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with high levels of accountability
• Experience in Adobe Analytics, Tableau or similar applications alongside strong MS Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint required

DesirableCriteria:

• Experience in digital/eCommerce environments is advantageous, but not essential
