Job summary

Sky is seeking a Commercial Strategy Manager to shape and execute strategic initiatives across its Assisted Channels. You’ll partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Finance and Trading to drive customer experience improvements and commercial performance.

Responsibilities include developing long-term channel strategies, building robust business cases from performance data, and coordinating GTM plans with consumer, service and capability teams to ensure timely delivery.

Job description

The Channel Strategy team is a dynamic and collaborative group, committed to challenging the status quo and uncovering new opportunities to deliver better outcomes for both customers and Sky.

As a Commercial Strategy Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives across Sky’s Assisted Channels. Working closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you’ll contribute to projects that enhance the customer experience and drive commercial performance.

What You’ll Do

• Shape the future Strategy:
• Contribute to the development of assisted channel strategies and help identify opportunities to develop how we interact with customers, such as contact optimisation (Calls/Chat) and our long range assisted channel strategy. This isn’t about the day-to-day; it’s about stepping back, thinking big, and helping shape mid to long-term improvements that deliver real business impact.

Understand commercial impact and build business cases:

Work with Trading, Commercial and Finance teams to interpret performance data, develop business cases and assess the commercial impact of key initiatives. You’ll use insight to shape clear recommendations, support better decision‑making and inform future plans.

Project Coordination:

You’ll play a key role in bringing our strategic plans to life by planning & executing the Go-To-Market plans (GTM) for our initiatives. You’ll collaborate with teams across consumer group, customer service group and capability teams to ensure smooth delivery.

Drive clarity through strong communication:

From presentations to reports, you’ll create clear, engaging content that helps stakeholders understand the ‘why’ behind our plans—and get behind them.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Build strong relationships with internal teams such as Commercial, Finance, and Trading and partner to support the delivery of initiatives aligned to business goals.

Team and Continuous Improvement

How you’ll work

We’ve adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
