Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking an Associate Director, Digital Tax to shape and deliver the digital strategy across Tax. You will work with Engineering, Product and Data Office to turn priorities into real products, platforms and data capabilities that benefit our people and clients.

The role offers flexible working options and a focus on responsible, modern tax technology while guiding complex change across service lines with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping or delivering digital or technology strategy in professional services.
• Track record delivering technology-enabled change with engineering and product teams.
• Understanding of data platforms, governance, and data-driven decision making.
• Understanding of Microsoft tech stack and Anthropic tools for automation and AI.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct line management.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of the digital strategy for Tax with measurable outcomes.
• Translate strategy into delivered products, platforms and data capabilities.
• Act as the link between tax service lines and technical teams, prioritising work by value and feasibility.
• Oversee delivery of strategic initiatives across multiple workstreams to hit KPIs and success metrics.
• Prepare business cases, benefits tracking and governance reporting for senior leaders.
• Collaborate with Data Office on data strategy and platform choices.
• Engage partners to drive adoption and change.
