Grant Thornton UK LLP is leading the digital transformation of its Tax practice, shaping strategy with Engineering, Product and Data Office. The role focuses on delivering platforms and data capabilities that drive measurable business outcomes.

As Associate Director, you’ll collaborate across service lines, translate strategy into tangible products, and oversee multi-workstream initiatives with an emphasis on value, risk, and governance. Flexible working options are available.

Formación

• Experience shaping or delivering digital or technology strategy in professional services or tax.
• Track record delivering technology-enabled change with engineering and product teams.
• Understanding of data platforms, governance and data-driven decision making.
• Understanding of Microsoft tech stack and Anthropic tools applied to automation and AI.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct line management.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver the digital tax strategy with measurable outcomes.
• Translate strategy into products, platforms and data capabilities.
• Link tax service lines with technical teams, prioritizing by value and risk.
• Oversee delivery of initiatives across workstreams within budget and KPIs.
• Prepare business cases, benefits tracking and governance reporting.
• Collaborate with Data Office on data strategy and platform choices.
• Engage partners and leaders to drive adoption of changes.
• Track emerging tech including AI and automation for applicability.
• Foster a culture of innovation across the digital community.
