Job description

We are looking to recruit for a vacancy within the team for Digital Systems Support and Training Officers (DiSSTOs).

Applications are invited from suitably skilled individuals who have a proven track record of experience across a number of areas, including:

1. Training experience, including determining training needs and learning objectives
2. Development of materials, planning, and delivering training courses
3. Experience of fault analysis and corrective action
4. Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands
5. Ability to work with minimum supervision and use own initiative
6. An understanding of the rationale and requirements of system upgrade management
7. Experience of providing support services through various methods

The ideal candidate will also possess the following attributes:

1. The ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring deadlines are met
2. The ability to problem-solve and think innovatively to resolve issues
3. Demonstrable interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication

The Digital Systems Support & Training Officer will be responsible for supporting GMMH system users with all aspects of systems administration and user training/support. The role focuses on ensuring that users have appropriate support and guidance before, during, and after gaining access to GMMH systems. This involves identifying training needs, developing training materials, and planning/delivering training sessions. The role also includes certain system administration and maintenance duties in close liaison with IM&T colleagues, end users, and staff within services.
