Job Title: Teaching Assistant Trainer Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across Milton Keynes and surrounding areas

Salary: £29,400 – £33,600 (Depending on qualifications and experience)

KM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant/Teacher, with Leadership and Management experience, to transition into a rewarding career within the training industry supporting Apprentices!

Essential Criteria:

• Experience of working at Management level within a School setting, managing staff (e.g., as a Head Teacher / Deputy Head Teacher)
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Teacher or Teaching Assistant
• Minimum Level 5 qualification in Education (e.g., PGCE/CertEd/QTS)
• Minimum Level 2 English and Maths / GCSE equivalents
• Experience of delivering on-the-job training to staff (highly desirable)
• Strong organisational skills and effective time management
• Confident, professional, and able to inspire and motivate
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Flexibility with travel

Duties include:

• Delivering full Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Standards L3-L5, and Operations Departmental Manager L5
• Managing a caseload of learners, conducting remote and face-to-face observations to gather evidence
• Efficiently managing your diary to ensure timely reviews and completions
• Supporting learners through the End Point Assessment Process
• Organising and maintaining documentation on learners’ progress
• Supporting, advising, and motivating learners
• Overcoming barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learner needs
• Meeting Assessor KPIs regarding visits, reviews, learner progression, quality paperwork, and administration
