Job summary

Speedy is seeking a Development Specialist - Digital Systems to join the People team in Haydock. This part-time role (22.5 hours/week) focuses on core business systems and enables colleagues to learn, grow and maximize the use of digital platforms.

You will design and deliver training across virtual, in-person and blended formats, acting as a subject matter expert and collaborating with partners to build engaging, practical learning solutions that meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development, training, digital learning or systems training environments.
• Experience designing and delivering training across virtual, face-to-face and blended formats.
• Strong understanding of how people learn and adapting to different audiences.
• Experience creating engaging training content and materials.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs across core business systems and translate into learning solutions.
• Design and deliver training across virtual, in-person and blended formats.
• Develop high-quality training materials and digital learning content.
• Act as a subject matter expert for digital systems learning and guidance.
• Collaborate with People Partners and stakeholders to align solutions with priorities.
• Support talent and succession planning and development of colleagues.
• Coordinate learning programmes and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Evaluate impact of learning interventions and drive improvements.
• Champion new learning technologies and best practices.
• Ensure learning solutions are engaging, relevant, cost-effective and aligned with Speedy priorities.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as a trusted partner.
