Job summary

Royal Trinity Hospice is seeking a Digital Educator / Digital Development Officer to design and deliver a structured Digital Skills Programme across staff and volunteers. You will simplify complex digital concepts, produce practical learning content and promote confident use of Microsoft 365 and core tools.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training or learning programmes, including digital skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook) and related tools.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into practical guidance for non-technical audiences.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Content creation across guides, videos and workshops.
• Analytical mindset with data-informed delivery improvements.
• Awareness of digital inclusion, accessibility and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design and deliver a structured Digital Skills Programme aligned to priorities.
• Implement the Digital Skills Programme across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Create engaging learning content (guides, videos, workshops) and measure impact.
• Identify gaps and tailor interventions for different roles and confidence levels.
• Promote best practice and digital adoption across the organisation.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to embed digital tools in workflows.
• Monitor adoption, engagement and outcomes using data to improve delivery.
• Lead and refresh the IT induction programme and support the Tech Buddy programme.
