Does this sound like a team you'd like to part of? We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our busy Team as a Digital Trainer. In this role you will be responsible for creating and delivering training courses to ensure all staff are efficient and effective in using the systems required for their job roles. This is a very exciting time for our team as we support the Trust on the Digital Journey. You should have a proven track record in training development and delivery to staff of all levels and have the ability to develop good quality training materials. The role is with the Digital Portfolio whereby the core principles are; Putting users' needs first Designing for simplicity Working in an agile way Doing things once across the Group Communicating and engaging throughout

To deliver training courses to ensure all UHL Hospital staff are efficient and effective users of the Trust's clinical and business Digital systems. Also, through effective education, training and development to support the Trust with Information Governance and help it to meet its targets within the national guidelines and strategies. Our new strategy, developed with the support and feedback of colleagues, patients, and partners, is our compass for the next seven years (2023-2030).

  • Educate staff to effectively use new technology that may significantly alter existing roles in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Promote a positive attitude towards digital change, information use and the collection of data across the organisation.
  • Support the smooth transfer and expansion of existing digital skills to meet new requirements.
  • Train staff at all levels on existing clinical systems and new systems introduced by the Trust or national programmes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of clinical information systems and related working processes across the Trust.
  • Provide training, support and guidance on Microsoft Office products.
  • Co-ordinate effective end-user training for national and local IT system implementations within agreed project timescales.
  • Identify training needs for each job role and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of high-quality digital training for Trust staff
