Job summary

East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Digital Project Manager to lead day-to-day digital projects and ensure timely, within-budget delivery aligned to the Trust's strategic objectives. You will plan, resource, and deploy activities across departments to integrate clinical systems and support business cases.

The role requires PRINCE2 experience and strong stakeholder engagement across NHS and external suppliers, with a focus on quality delivery and benefits realisation.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• Project Management qualification at Practitioner Level e.g. PRINCE2.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects in a Health Informatics setting.
• Experience of NHS computing and dealing with clinical suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Produce and revise project documentation and detailed implementation plans.
• Work closely with Project Executives to manage projects effectively.
• Plan and allocate resources across departments and organisations.
• Evaluate project plans for quality and organisational capability.
• Manage dependencies and interfaces between programmes/projects.
• Monitor progress and take corrective action, escalating as needed.
• Identify and mitigate risks with comprehensive risk logs.
• Manage issues with owners and action plans and logs.
