Job summary

American Express offers a 10-week Summer Internship in Enterprise Technology Services as an Associate Digital Product Management Intern. You’ll join a collaborative environment, contributing to product, platform, and delivery initiatives that shape customer and colleague experiences.

You’ll work with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, Data Analysts, and business partners to learn how initiatives are envisioned, built, launched, and governed to deliver value at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation date in 2028.
• Demonstrated interest in technology, product management, digital products, or customer experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with customer journeys, user-centered design, or launch readiness.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Managers and delivery teams in defining and refining requirements and user stories.
• Assist with stakeholder interviews, user research, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, risk, and operations teams to support delivery.
• Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and delivery readiness.
• Monitor risks and dependencies and assist with leadership updates on delivery status.
