Job summary

American Express is seeking an Associate Digital Product Management Intern in Enterprise Technology Services for a 10-week Summer Internship. You will support product requirements, user stories, and Agile planning with cross-functional teams.

You’ll learn how product teams envision and deliver digital experiences, measure outcomes, manage risks, and drive value at enterprise scale in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's degree program.
• Expected graduation date in 2028.
• Interest in technology, product management, digital products, and Agile delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with customer journeys, roadmaps, user stories, and launch readiness.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Product Managers and delivery teams in defining, refining, and prioritizing product requirements.
• Assist with customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, and user research activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, risk, security, and operations teams to support delivery.
• Support Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives.
• Monitor risks, dependencies, and impediments to delivery; escalate as needed.
• Document technical discussions on architecture, roadmaps, and delivery readiness.
• Create and analyze portfolio, release train, product, and team-level metrics.
• Help develop implementation roadmaps and manage cross-functional dependencies.
