Job summary

Financial Times is seeking a Digital & Print Production Engineer to support the end-to-end print publishing operation, ensuring newspaper pages, digital editions and related services are delivered accurately and on time daily.

You will monitor production systems, coordinate activities across Editorial, Advertising, Distribution and partners, investigate incidents and drive resolutions while improving workflows and tooling for reliability and automation.

Qualifications

• Operationally focused engineer with experience supporting production/operational systems.
• Experience investigating and resolving incidents across publishing systems and workflows.
• Strong collaboration with Editorial, Advertising, Production, Distribution and Tech teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate business-critical publishing systems and workflows.
• Coordinate production activities with internal teams and external partners.
• Investigate incidents and drive resolution and post-incident reviews.
• Develop and improve tooling, automation and monitoring to increase reliability.
• Provide clear operational updates during incidents and support continuous publishing.
• Support testing, deployments and readiness for new services and enhancements.
