Job summary

Financial Times is seeking a Digital & Print Production Engineer to support end-to-end print publishing, ensuring pages and digital editions are delivered on time. You’ll monitor production systems, coordinate across Editorial, Distribution and external partners, and drive automation and observability improvements.

The role requires experience with production services, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business-critical operational or production services.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Evidence of working with monitoring or observability tooling.

Responsibilities

• Support daily print publishing operations and ensure deadlines are met.
• Monitor production systems, coordinate incidents and outages.
• Drive continuous improvement of tooling, automation and workflows.
• Collaborate with Editorial, Distribution, Tech and third-party partners.
