Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 2 days off 6:00am – 8:00pm

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Digital Print Operative to join a fast-paced Print & Finishing department within a leading visual communications business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in print production who takes pride in delivering quality work and wants to be part of a collaborative and agile team.

Digital Print Operative Key Responsibilities

Process incoming work from the repro/print department

Ensure correct sizing and apply the appropriate correction curves

Quality check all jobs according to job specifications

Maintain workflow and adhere to the production schedule

Report major issues to the supervisor or manager

Resolve minor issues independently to maintain job flow

Maintain machinery in accordance with manufacturer recommendations

Keep your work area clean, organised, and safe

Select the correct media profile and rip the job for print (training provided if required)

Digital Print Operative Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of print production practices

Experience with digital print machinery (e.g., HP Flatbeds, Agfa, efi Vutek) is an advantage

Understanding of Windows operating systems

Practical experience in a print environment

High attention to detail

Dependable, honest, and conscientious

Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-moving environment
