Shift Pattern: Days - 9am to 5pm

Our client is a specialist book printing business and part of an independent creative agency established over 30 years ago. They produce beautifully crafted, premium-quality books for businesses, brands, publishers and individuals across the UK and beyond.

As their print business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Digital Print Operator to join their production team in Leeds.

They're looking for an experienced Digital Print Operator with a working knowledge of
SRA3+ commercial digital production presses and Fiery RIP software.

Experience with Ricoh, Xerox, Canon, Konica Minolta or similar production equipment would be suitable.

You'll be responsible for managing digital print production from file preparation through to
finished printed sheets, ensuring exceptional quality, colour consistency and efficient output.

You'll be joining a small, hands-on team where attention to detail, reliability and the ability to
work independently are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate SRA3+ digital production presses.
• Use Fiery Command WorkStation to manage print queues, job settings, imposition and output.
• Check and prepare artwork, PDFs and print files for production.
• Manage paper stocks, colour consistency, registration and print quality.
• Produce work accurately and efficiently to agreed specifications and deadlines.
• Identify and resolve print problems, reducing waste and unnecessary reprints.
• Carry out routine maintenance, calibration and basic troubleshooting.
• Quality-check printed work throughout production.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate job progress.
• Assist with guillotining, book production and general finishing when required.
• Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient production environment.
• Practical experience operating SRA3+ commercial digital production presses, such as Ricoh, Xerox, Canon or Konica Minolta.
• Confident, hands‑on experience using Fiery RIP and Command WorkStation.
• Good understanding of digital print workflows, paper stocks, colour management and
• quality control.
• Ability to troubleshoot common print and production issues independently.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Experience in book production, Fiery Impose, guillotining, imposition software or print finishing would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
