Job summary

Government Recruitment Service in Cardiff is seeking a Digital Performance Analyst to support the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST) within the DDaT directorate. You will analyze user journeys and performance across digital services, providing clear insights to product owners and policy teams.

• Defining what “good” looks like by developing performance frameworks aligned to organisational strategy, business objectives and user needs
• Developing performance analysis projects, selecting the most appropriate methodologies to generate actionable insights
• Analysing service performance using Google Analytics and other quantitative and qualitative data sources, triangulating evidence to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborating with product teams to assess and enhance the performance of digital services across the product lifecycle
• Presenting analytical findings clearly and persuasively, tailoring communication to suit different audiences
• Applying quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of performance data and analysis outputs
• Developing and maintain dashboards, ensuring key stakeholders, product owners, and policy teams have access to timely and relevant performance data
• Collaborating with user researchers, developers and other multidisciplinary roles, using evidence to inform decision-making
