Part Time Hourly Paid Lecturer in Digital
£22.36 per hour plus £5.33 holiday pay
As a part-time hourly paid lecturer, you will assist in fostering a rich learning environment by teaching on a range of courses including BTEC Levels 2 and 3 and L1-L2 IT Users. You will be committed to excellence, offering the very highest standards in teaching in areas of programming, networking, computational thinking and other areas of computing and IT. You will also be expected to take responsibility for high levels of attendance and achievement on courses delivered.
You should have a recognised level 4 qualification in Computing or equivalent industry experience and a relevant teaching qualification or willing to work towards and achieve within 2 years of appointment (self-funding). You should also have significant experience of managing a year group or curriculum programme. With a strong awareness of contemporary developments within the Computing sector, you will also have experience in either programming language, cyber security, data analysis, AI and/or networking. you must also have experience of teaching examinations and industry type projects.
