Job summary

Peterborough College is seeking a Learning Resource Assistant to support the Library and Digital Learning Centre. You will manage resource systems, assist students with digital resources, and help maintain an effective learning environment across campuses.

The role requires excellent customer service and digital literacy skills, with 37 hours per week in Peterborough and a permanent contract. Salary is £25,043 per annum with competitive benefits, closing date 24 August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Operate digital library software: Heritage Cirqa for loans, memberships, reservations, enquiries, overdues, invoicing, notifications, and new records.
• Coordinate resource procurement: check reading lists, respond to purchasing requests, create online orders.
• Manage financial systems: raise purchase orders, receive items, send invoices.
• Process physical library inventory: stock processing for new arrivals.
