The role involves pro rata salary for term time hours, with emphasis on mobility support, literacy and numeracy assistance, and safeguarding responsibilities in a college setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learners with learning difficulties and EHCP targets.
• Ability to clarify complex instructions and support comprehension.
• Familiarity with assistive learning software and devices.

Responsibilities

• Clarify and simplify learning instructions to support comprehension.
• Keep learners engaged, motivated and focused.
• Apply knowledge of learning difficulties to support recommendations.
• Develop and implement tailored learner strategies and EHCP targets.
• Provide accurate daily support records and termly reviews.
• Assist with mobility and exam support as required.
