Job summary

QA seeks a Digital Learning Coach - Digital Technology in Glasgow (home based) to support and coach learners toward timely apprenticeship completion. You will manage a caseload, collaborate with Skills Coaches and Quality Assurance Consultants, and help learners apply new skills within their roles.

The role emphasizes quality assurance, CPD, and stakeholder relationships, with diverse learner environments and a focus on safeguarding and equality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching learners in apprenticeship programmes.
• Industry experience in the relevant learner programme you support.
• Awareness of Equality and Diversity; Safeguarding and Prevent requirements.

About The Role

Digital Learning Coach - Digital Technology

Location: Glasgow, Home based

Your Role:

You will be supporting and coaching a group of learners working towards the successful and timely achievement of their programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and support an agreed case-load of learners in smaller organisations and corporate environments
• Work with internal Skills Coaches, Learning Specialists and Quality Assurance Consultants to ensure learners successfully achieve their apprenticeship programme on time
• Support learners across a variety of modules specifically helping them apply their skills to their immediate job roles
• Observe, review and provide feedback on evidence produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner’s knowledge, skills and behaviour and meet the needs of the Awarding Organisation
• Adhere to and apply quality assurance procedures when reviewing all components of the standards/framework to minimise referrals and meet deadlines
• Hold regular review meetings and build a positive relationship with the employer, line manager and mentor to monitor progress and plan progression
• Identify and develop further business prospects together with your line manager
• Deal with more complex customer questions and complaints according to Company policy
• Provide timely and accurate documentation, management information, and reports in line with agreed business processes and KPIs
• Take ownership of own development ensuring Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is kept up to date

Your Experience:

• Technical requirements depend on course/portfolio
• Business exposure in your specialist area
• Some industry experience for the relevant learner programme you support
