Job summary

New City College is seeking a Work Experience and Employer Engagement Lead for Digital and IT to connect students with industry placements and lead partnerships with employers across London. You will coordinate the full work experience programme, secure high-quality placements and support students throughout their placement journeys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with employers to secure work placements.
• Actively engage with businesses to expand the employer network.
• Coordinate the full work experience programme ensuring placements are safe and aligned with industry standards.
• Support and inspire students on their placement journeys.
• Work with curriculum teams to embed employer engagement within the Digital and IT curriculum.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of work experience activities.
• Collaborate with employers through projects, guest speakers, careers events and mentoring.
