Job summary

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Digital Business Analyst to join the Digital Health Service. You will support digital transformation across services, working with clinical teams and managers to understand processes and identify improvements.

You will gather requirements, document processes and help design future digital solutions, contributing to change delivery and benefits realisation across a varied portfolio of projects.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis (or working towards) or equivalent professional experience
• Understanding of Business Analysis lifecycle and core techniques
• Awareness of digital transformation or service improvement approaches
• Knowledge of current NHS affairs
• Experience supporting business analysis or service improvement activities

Responsibilities

• Engage with clinical and operational teams to understand existing pathways and processes
• Support the identification, analysis and documentation of business requirements
• Assist in the co-design of future state processes and digital solutions
• Produce clear and structured documentation, including process maps, requirements specifications and stakeholder analysis
• Support stakeholder engagement and communication throughout the project lifecycle
• Contribute to benefits realisation activities, including identifying, documenting and tracking expected benefits
• Support the planning and delivery of change management activities to enable successful adoption of digital solutions
• Work across multiple projects, supporting delivery in line with agreed priorities, timelines and standards
