Job summary

Maxwell Bond in Manchester is seeking an experienced Digital Delivery Manager to lead a public sector digital transformation portfolio. You will own delivery from discovery to go-live, collaborating with developers, stakeholders and business units.

The role centers on Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, managing pipelines, adapting to priorities, and delivering meaningful digital solutions on a hybrid model with up to £50k salary on a 2-year FTC.

We're working with a public sector organisation looking for an experienced Digital Delivery Manager to support its ongoing digital transformation programme.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of digital initiatives, helping turn business requirements into practical, user-focused solutions. You'll manage delivery from initial discovery and requirements gathering through to development, release and implementation.

The role has a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform and managing software development pipelines, alongside wider digital products and services. You'll work closely with developers, technical specialists and business stakeholders, adapting to changing priorities and taking responsibility for outcomes from start to finish.

What you'll do as a Digital Delivery Manager:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, from discovery and requirements gathering through to development, testing, go-live and service transition.
• Manage software development pipelines, coordinate developers, oversee sprints and monitor progress, risks, dependencies and delivery milestones.
• Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, shape solution options, translate requirements into user stories and manage expectations on delivery.
• Work across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and wider digital products, collaborating with technical specialists to overcome challenges and deliver continuous service improvement.
• Adapt to changing priorities across a varied portfolio, taking ownership of solutions from initial concept through to implementation and business-as-usual.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience managing digital delivery or software development projects from initial concept through to implementation and go-live.
• Experience working with development teams, managing software delivery pipelines, agile practices and coordinating multidisciplinary resources.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to lead discovery, challenge constructively and translate business needs into deliverable solutions.
• Experience with Dynamics 365, Power Platform or comparable business applications. Public sector or local government experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An interest in digital innovation and emerging technologies, including AI, is an advantage.
