Identify Solutions is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to drive a major public-sector transformation programme. You’ll lead delivery across multiple teams, shape the delivery plan, and challenge existing approaches to improve outcomes.

The role blends consultancy thinking with hands-on delivery leadership, with a largely remote setup and occasional on-site presence in Liverpool. You’ll partner with Product Owners and senior stakeholders to remove blockers, manage risks, and ensure momentum

Qualifikationen

• Proven track record leading complex digital delivery programmes.
• Experience across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and delivery planning.
• Strong governance and risk management across multiple teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including senior leadership.
• Experience in public sector or GDS is highly desirable.

Senior Delivery Manager | Public Sector Digital Transformation

£60–£80,000 | Largely remote - circa 3 days a month on site in Liverpool

I’m working with a growing digital consultancy looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to take a leading role on a major public-sector transformation programme.

The programme is still early enough for you to have genuine influence, but plenty is already happening. They need someone who can come in, quickly understand a complex delivery landscape and bring structure, momentum and challenge where it’s needed.

This isn’t a role for someone who simply facilitates ceremonies and updates plans.

They’re looking for a dynamic, experienced delivery leader who is comfortable working across multiple teams, dealing with ambiguity and challenging senior stakeholders when something could be done better.

What you’ll be doing

• Leading delivery across multiple teams through Discovery, Alpha and Beta
• Bringing together product backlogs and helping create a consolidated delivery plan across the wider landscape
• Maintaining momentum and actively tackling risks, issues and dependencies
• Working closely with Product Owners, delivery teams and senior stakeholders
• Challenging existing processes and helping teams establish better ways of working
• Providing advice and challenge across wider transformation areas including capability, commercial and operating model

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience leading complex digital delivery environments
• Excellent knowledge of Agile, Lean and hybrid delivery approaches
• Experience working across multiple teams, dependencies and competing priorities
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the confidence to challenge at senior level
• Comfortable creating structure where the route forward isn’t always obvious
• Someone proactive, commercially aware and genuinely interested in improving how things are delivered
• Public-sector / GDS experience highly desirable
• Previous digital consultancy experience would be a strong advantage
• Eligibility to gain SC Clearance is essential
