Snc-Lavalin in the United Kingdom is seeking a Project Engineer Digital Solutions to lead BIM and information management across major rail projects. You will define digital requirements, deliver BIM execution plans, and ensure effective data exchange through the project lifecycle.
You will collaborate with discipline leads, enhance digital delivery, and drive adoption of CDE tools while upskilling teams and upholding UK standards in data and information management.
The role of the Project Engineer Digital Solutions is always evolving. You’ll help the range of projects operating within the Complex Projects Business make decisions on how best to produce, manage and share digital information to optimise delivery, enhance quality, avoid errors and ultimately exceed client requirements. You’ll also provide detailed advice and support to our teams around how changing technologies might help enhance and streamline their individual delivery processes. You will actively contribute to the Information Management Plan and Digital Delivery more widely and you’ll work with the team to ensure that they are adhered to throughout the phases of the project lifecycle, across the sectors. We are looking for individuals with a real passion and drive to make Digital Engineering the centre of our integrated delivery approach. To do this you’ll need to have a wide range of positive behaviours including being collaborative, open, empathetic, enthusiastic, resilient, tenacious, hardworking and delivery orientated. As a Digital Engineering lead with our teams, you’ll be visible and accessible to them, with an ability to work effectively with our site project teams.
Degree level or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant discipline. Member of a professional institution desirable. Complimentary or additional qualifications may include Data Systems, Data Analytics, BIM Certification and Security.
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
