Simmons & Simmons LLP in London or Bristol is seeking an Associate to join the digital assets practice within the Structured Finance & Derivatives team. You will advise on transactional mandates involving digital assets, regulatory and structuring issues, and tokenisation across cross-border matters, collaborating with colleagues in Bristol, London and globally.

Qualifications

• Excellent academics.
• 1/2+ PQE gained at a leading City firm.
• Solid structured finance or derivatives background, transactional or regulatory.
• Genuine interest in crypto, digital assets, tokenisation and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Advise on transactional mandates relating to digital assets within a structured finance or derivatives foundation.
• Advise on regulatory and structuring matters relating to digital assets and tokenisation, working with financial regulatory lawyers.
• Draft, review and negotiate transaction and structured finance documentation for international clients in the cryptoassets space.
• Collaborate with cross-practice teams across Bristol, London and global offices.
• Take real responsibility for matters, supervise and develop junior members, and build client relationships.
• Play an active role in marketing and business development to grow the practice.
