Job summary

Bassetlaw District Council is seeking an enthusiastic Applications and Digital Development Officer to support, develop and maintain the Council's business applications and digital services. You will work across the organisation to improve systems, streamline processes and introduce new technologies that enable excellent public services.

Responsibilities include administering key business applications, analysing requirements, implementing enhancements and collaborating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or administering business applications or ICT systems.
• Confident using Microsoft 365 technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to manage competing priorities and work independently and collaboratively.
• Keen to learn, develop and embrace new technology.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer key business applications and digital services.
• Analyse user requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Implement system enhancements and support new software projects.
• Work with data, reporting tools and system integrations.
• Assist with testing, releases and user acceptance processes.
• Build positive relationships with colleagues, customers and software suppliers.
