Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Diesel Fitter for a role based in Nairn, near Inverness. You will dismantle, diagnose and fit diesel pumps, engines and gearboxes, with duties split between the company workshop and customer sites.

Applicants should be apprentice trained in mechanical engineering with diesel fitting experience, ideally on pumps or engines. A full driving licence is essential and the position offers overtime and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained in mechanical engineering.
• Previous experience in diesel fitting on pumps or engines.
• Full driving licence required and commutable distance to Nairn.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, diagnose and fit diesel pumps and engines.
• Carry out repairs in the workshop and on-site installations.
• Attend callouts and service at customer sites around Inverness.
