Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment is seeking a Bench Fitter in the Killamarsh area near Sheffield. The role involves assembling pump components and sub-assemblies, refurbishing machinery, and preparing parts lists for assembly, with strict adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.

Applicants should have a mechanical engineering background (HND/HNC/apprenticeship) and proven experience with pumps or engines, along with the ability to read engineering drawings and use hand tools and small

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical engineering training or apprenticeship.
• Experience with assembly, disassembly and repair of pumps or engines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow specs.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out assembly of pump related components and sub-assemblies
• Conduct refurbishment works to existing machinery
• Preparation and creation of parts lists for assembly
• Carrying out functionality tests for faults to meet quality standards
• Prepare completed equipment for client or factory testing
• Adhere to Health & Safety and other regulations
